Since making his return to music, Big Jon has been quietly but consistently carving out his place in the industry. After dropping his EP on January 1st, 2025, he spent the year performing at small open-mic venues around Baltimore, building momentum through grassroots efforts. Along the way, he appeared on podcasts, had several articles written about his journey, and was interviewed on the internet radio station Chicago 77.3, further expanding his reach.
Big Jon continued releasing new material throughout the year, including Level Up, which was recorded at Lounge Studios in New York City on September 3rd, 2025. In October, he returned home to Baltimore to record more music, starting with the diss track Don’t Mess With the Flock. The song criticized the Baltimore Ravens organization, highlighting the team’s struggles, weak performances, and repeated playoff failures during the Lamar Jackson era. The track was released on November 5th, 2025.
He followed that release with Persona, which dropped on December 24th, 2025. Currently, Big Jon is preparing for the release of another single titled The Flames, expected sometime in January. While pushing out new music, he has also been actively searching for a manager or agent to help bring his career to a larger stage. His aspirations include touring nationwide and collaborating with artists such as Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, Tate McRae, Megan Thee Stallion, Alicia Keys, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Imagine Dragons, and many others.
Big Jon’s passion for music has always been deeply personal, originally driven by honoring his mother. However, in October, he suffered another devastating loss when his grandmother passed away at 89 years old due to kidney failure. After her funeral in November, he vowed to continue pursuing his dreams to honor her legacy and make her proud.
Heading into 2026, Big Jon has several projects lined up. He plans to travel to Los Angeles in March to record a new single called Reload, while continuing to perform, network, and seek new opportunities. Through every challenge, Big Jon remains determined to keep moving forward.
