Jenelle Alexia Is Everywhere at Once — And Bringing A’Legends With Her

Jenelle Alexia is back on the runway and bigger than before. The multi-hyphenate (designer, author, actress, producer, philanthropist, mom) will unveil new A’Legends looks at the Africa Night Out Gala this September in New Jersey — the same night she receives the Diaspora Excellence Award for her impact across fashion, entertainment, and Caribbean culture.

This year has been motion: a Jamaica school tour touching 9,000+ students, an invite from Minister Olivia “Babsy” Grange for Read Across Jamaica Day, and a third book in her Keira series — with hard-copy launches rolling into island bookstores by September. On screen, she wrapped a cameo in SWITCH and starred in Unbelievable with Spragga Benz — now an Official Selection, Wilmington International Film Festival 2025.

She keeps the culture close. A’Legends outfitted promo girls at Flippa Moggela’s Evolution in Philly; backstage, Jenelle networked with Nigy Boy and Kkrytical. She’s building her next riddim compilation with hopes to feature I-Octane, Jahmiel, and rising voices. Recent stops: Angela Yee Day (linking with Gyptian, Tifa, Chronic Law) and the Caribbean Music Awards at Kings Theatre among heavyweights like Elephant Man, DJ Khaled, Shenseea, Busta Rhymes, Buju Banton.

Think Kimora Lee Simmons’ brand instincts meets Issa Rae’s multi-platform hustle: books shaping young readers, clothes lighting runways, films and music opening new doors — all anchored by community work at home and abroad.

“Pressure brings greater rewards,” Jenelle says. The legacy is already forming; the scale just went global.
